Public Affairs Service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has repeatedly reported on the achievements of the reconnaissance man Andrii Badarak.

After being severely wounded to his spine and legs, which Andrii suffered while defending Ukraine in the 54th separate reconnaissance battalion, he woke up one day without feeling his legs. Severe depression, despair - a wheelchair for the rest of life ... Once a sporty, fearless reconnaissance man, he was angry every day that he had not died with his comrades in that battle ... Only the promise to a surgeon, who was practically pulling him out of arms of death for several hours in a row and a dream to dance a wedding dance with his daughter, forced him to begin such a difficult and long way to fight for a full life.

Daily exhausting exercises, procedures, swimming in the pool, and as a result - the sensitivity began to return to his legs. Without stopping at what he had achieved, Andrii became more actively to engage in sports.

Last week, the Ukrainian swimming championship among people with musculoskeletal disorders, visual and developmental disorders took place in Kamianske. It was there that Andrii Badarak and his comrades-in-arms Ivan Lepekha performed firstly the standards for the title of masters of sports, and also secured a number of victories.
