Another Thirty-One Families of Warriors-Intelligence Personnel Received Flats in Kyiv

Today, on May 27, another such good event in a life of any serviceman’s family has been held - another thirty-one DIU employees have received keys from their flats. Vast majority of warriors, who have received today flats, had been on front during several rotations, performing combat tasks and defending our state against Russian occupants. In addition, a significant part of them are quite young that has a positive effect on the moral climate in collective and encourage patriotic and talented youth for military service.

According to a tradition in the military intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, modern building technology have been used in a new building and necessary infrastructure for children have been created. Comfortable flats, in which intelligence personnel will live, are equipped with the most essential household appliances.

Congratulating the new settlers, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Colonel-General Vasyl Burba emphasized that the leadership of the military intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine does not stop at what has been accomplished and continues to solve social issues of personnel.

– Despite problems and difficulties caused by spreading the COVID-19 virus, we have put into use the building with living conditions for intelligence personnel. Provision of housing for DIU employees programme is one of top priorities. Its implementation, as well as performing combat tasks, continues in spite of quarantine restrictions. I consider that this is an important factor of further improvement of military service conditions, a guarantee of faith in the best future and our common victory," the head of the military intelligence of Ukraine said.
