In such way, the countrymen honored the memory of Maksym Benderov
Recently, the 3rd open military sport multiathlon championship, dedicated to the memory of perished in ATO area reconnaissance man Maksym Benderov, was held in Oleksandriyia.
Maksym was multiple champion of Ukraine on pankration, a medal winner of European championships and world ones on military sport multiathlon. In 2014, a senior reconnaissance man Maksym Benderov was killed while performing a combat task in the area of holding of anti-terrorist operation.
The tournament became one of the preparation stages for relevant championship of Ukraine which will be taken place in May 2017, in Kharkiv.
