Experience, gained while repulsing the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, has clearly determined a list of essential moral and professional qualities that are necessary to a defender of Ukraine. Decency and patriotism are among such qualities, besides professional ones.

Appropriate attention is given to foster awareness of necessary qualities of a modern Ukrainian commander in the higher military educational institutions. In particular, within the framework of mentioned above work, the future intelligence officers have recently met with the beneficiary of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate Father Vasyl.

Father Vasyl is a remarkable individual, so during the meeting he told the cadets about the Revolution of Dignity, a direct participant of which he was. He gave examples of self-sacrificingness of the Ukrainian warriors, while repulsing the Russian armed aggression, because Father Vasyl is a military chaplain of one of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as about spiritual component of our life, Belief, God and future of Ukraine.
