This is to remind that on September 4, 2024, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs successfully evacuated 25 Ukrainian citizens, including 14 women and 11 children, from Lebanon. During the first operation on August 3, 30 Ukrainians were evacuated, including 21 women and 9 children.

Thanks to the efforts of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the support of international partners, all persons who expressed a desire to return home were successfully evacuated. The operation was carried out promptly and without complications, taking into account the existing threats to the security of citizens in the region.
