Yesterday, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed a resolution on the distribution of a subvention for the payment of monetary compensation for the purchase of housing to internally displaced persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the order provides for the allocation of UAH 250 million resource for the purchase of housing for 219 veterans.
He also noted that today’s decision of the Government applies to those “who defended Ukraine, its independence, integrity and their own homes with weapons in their hands.” “We are talking about 219 internally displaced persons who were directly involved in the anti-terrorist operation. Today we will allocate almost UAH 250 million for the servicemen. This resource will also be directed to ensure that our veterans can get their own apartments and comfortable living conditions,” said Denys Shmyhal.
