Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Strikes russian "buyan-m" Missile Corvette in the Azov Sea
August 28, 2025

On August 28, 2025, during a joint special operation, the Department of Active Operations of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence and the special unit "Prymary" successfully targeted a russian Project 21631 "buyan-m" missile corvette — a carrier of "kalibr" cruise missiles — in the Azov Sea, near temporarily occupied Crimea.

Fighters of the "Prymary" unit damaged the ship's radar system with a precision drone strike. At the same time, the special forces of the Department of Active Operations hit the vessel directly, targeting the "kalibr" missile launcher.

As a result of the strikes, the russian warship — located in a potential "kalibr" launch zone in the Temryuk Bay — sustained significant damage and was forced to withdraw from its combat duty area.

The fight continues.

Glory to Ukraine!
