Quantum-Systems GmbH will supply the Ukrainian army with 105 additional Vector reconnaissance drones with a long flight duration as part of the military assistance programme for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, funded by the German government. This is reported by company's web-site, as seen by Ukrinform.

Quantum-Systems GmbH reported that with the latest software update, Vector UAV is also able to operate in GNSS-denied scenarios. Besides, the company is opening a training center for Vector operators in Ukraine. In addition to training, the center will also service systems and purchase spare parts necessary for repairs.

This is to remind: Vector drone is a fixed-wing reconnaissance drone that can take off and land vertically. The wingspan of the Vector is 2.8 m, the flight speed is up to 72 km/h. According to the manufacturer, the UAV does not require a launch catapult or runway, and the drone is capable of operating at wind speeds of up to 12 m/s. The flight time is up to 120 minutes, the system’s range is up to 15 km (can be increased to 25 km).
