Ukrainian defence attachés have conveyed medical equipment for treatment of the servicemen
Today, on July 22, within the framework of meeting with the defence attachés of Ukraine accredited abroad that is held under the patronage of the Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of Army Stepan Poltorak, military diplomats visited National Military Medical Clinical Center “Central Military Clinical Hospital”.
During the visit, the defence attachés conveyed medical equipment, such as defibrillator provided by German doctors as well as medicines for treatment of the wounded warriors.
Moreover, within the round table, the military diplomats communicated with the doctors and enquired after the hospital’s problems in equipments and medicines.
– At the end of the last year, the Republic of Poland rendered a humanitarian assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine about 98 kinds of medicines for more than $ 100 thousand. Today’s event is very important. Indeed, knowing the problems of military hospital, every attaché can direct his work at achieving results on rendering of humanitarian assistance, – Defence Attaché of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland Colonel Serhii Yatsulchak said.
Communicating with the leadership of the health institution, defence attachés has informed about coming into contact with the foreign clinics and charitable organizations which have been constantly contributed to the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian critically wounded servicemen abroad. Also, the representatives of military diplomatic corps assured doctors of their readiness to promote of developing of immediate contacts between “Central Military Clinical Hospital” and foreign specialized institutions.
A Deputy Chief of Center Colonel Oleksandr Lashyn thanked defence attachés for assistance that they have been rendering for treatment of wounded servicemen.
– Medical apparatus that defence attachés today have conveyed to the hospital will be used for treatment of all categories of patients, – Oleksandr Lashyn said.
