Since the very onset of the counter operations against Russian armed aggression in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate has constantly supported the defenders of liberty and independence of our state.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate grants assistants to warriors on the frontline, including reconnaissance men, wounded defenders of Ukraine, who are undergoing treatment in medical institutions, servicemen’s families and volunteers.
Recently, representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate have once again displayed their unwavering position in different corners of Ukraine. Thus, Vyshhorod archbishop Ahapit awarded volunteers who have been rendering assistance to Ukrainian warriors with medals “For Self-Sacrifice and Devotion to Ukraine” in St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery. In addition, archbishop Ahapit thanked volunteers for their self-sacrifice and fidelity to Homeland and encouraged them to carry on such volunteer activity.
Meanwhile, Right Reverend Simeon visited wounded warriors in Mechnikov Hospital in Dnipro city and consecrated the newly-purchased intensive care equipment for treatment of servicemen.
