The programme on assistance to the families of perished ATO participants, which includes a number of health-improving, medical, cultural and other events, is being implemented on the initiative of local authorities and deputies of regional council in Vinnytsia region. The regional Department of Social-and-Youth Policy provides direct leadership and arrangement of the events.
Within the framework of the above-mentioned programme, eight widows of ATO participants together with their children have recently attended the Museum of Aviation in Vinnytsia.
“I enjoyed it. Undoubtedly, it is very important for us and for our children, it is educational. You know, pride for our army emerges after such events. But as long as the war continues, my heart will not be at peace over our losses, the deaths of our husbands. I want to believe that they laid down their lives for a reason”, - Halyna Trofymchuk Vinnytsia inhabitant says, whose husband served in a separate reconnaissance battalion and was killed while performing a combat task in ATO area.
