According to Vadym Skibitskyi, the Russian officers, who are staying in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, have the cover documents in which quite different surnames are indicated. These documents are made in Russia. In addition, the occupants have been actively using passports of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” and “Luhansk People’s Republic” lately.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine states that 840 officers of the Russian Armed Forces, who were holding leading positions in the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the occupation troops, underwent rotation in 2018.
More than five thousand Russian officers took direct part in warfare and managed the Russian grouping.
