The “Pride of Rivne” award is given to those city residents who evoke admiration and pride, who committed heroic deeds or whose lifestyle is an example for others. The main mission of the competition is to make the outstanding and heroic acts of ordinary people, who are role models for others, widely recognized in society.

This year’s award ceremony, which took place in Rivne, included five nominations. The award in the nomination “Deed from the Heart” went to Viktoriia Shynkarenko, the medical assistant of a separate reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
