At the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy, they have been passing admission examinations, including the physical training, taking psychologic testing and medical examining board. Also, it is taken into account the average score of their Higher Diploma, gained earlier at civilian educational institutions.

The project provides for an intensive training for Ukrainian citizens under 30 years of age, who have a higher education not lower than bachelor degree, for just one year. Primarily, it was tested during preparation of several dozen students who acquired the profession of commanders of mechanized infantry and artillery units. After successful completion of the pilot project, this preparation system was also introduced in other military educational institutions of our country, and a number of directions and range amount of preparation was increased in the National Army Academy.
