Having suffered heavy casualties and destruction in the Second World War, Ukraine made a worthy contribution in the victory over Nazism.

During a meeting, a representative of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Maksym Maiorov told about the contribution of Ukraine in the victory over Nazism. Maksym Vitaliiovych elaborated on political and diplomatic aspects in some detail as well as he told about little known facts of the Ukrainian liberation movement.

At the end of the briefing, DIU workforce thanked lecturer for an interesting lecture and expressed hope for further meetings.
