An award ceremony for the winners in a children’s drawings contest was held in the DIU
About 40 works were presented in the contest. The participants included the children of DIU’s employees and servicemen of subordinate military units. Every child’s work amazes by its individuality and rouses interest with its presentation and underlying meaning.
The contest’s organizers selected 6 of the best works for the finals, which were placed on a special exhibition in the Center for Culture and Recreation.
According to jurymen, “any child’s drawing, which is devoted to the defenders of our Homeland, is a peculiar reflection of how the youngest citizens of our society perceive modern Ukrainian forces, and how these children have grown up to be patriots of Ukraine amidst warfare”.
The awarding ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere. During the ceremony all of the participants were presented with certificates of honor and sweets, while the winners received memorable awards.
