The main purpose of the operational meeting is to achieve uniform understanding of perspectives of development of security environment around Ukraine, main tasks of the military intelligence of Ukraine amidst significant increasing of military threat to our state from the part of the Russian Federation.

During the event, the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the representatives of the leadership of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of intelligence and special agencies of our state, leading specialists of defence scientific-and-research institutions, experts in national security sphere, as well as the representatives of the leadership of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine addressed to audience.

Special attention was paid to issues on improvement of the efficiency of conducting of all types of reconnaissance, analyzing forms and methods of conducting hybrid war by Russia and practical measures on countering such activity, implementation of NATO standards in DIU activity, taking into account the tendencies and current situation in the world and around Ukraine into the processes of planning and conducting intelligence. During the learning of above-mentioned issues, it was determined directions on improvement of functioning of the Ukrainian military intelligence system, as well as intelligence-and-information support of top state authority and military leadership of Ukraine.
