On the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Reconnaissance men Took Part in National Events
On 21st November 2017, the Day of Dignity and Freedom is celebrated in our state. On this day various commemorations, memorable and cultural-and-educational events - in particular, events on military-and-patriotic upbringing of youth – were held across Ukraine. In the town of Smila, employees of the local central library invited children to an event dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred,
The event was also attended by journalist Oleksandr Vivcharyk and participant of historical events on Maidan sergeant-reconnaissance man and ATO veteran Andrii Vovk.
The children thanked the heroes for their interesting stories and invaluable memories. At the end of meeting, flowers were laid at the monument of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and their memory was honored with a moment of silence.
