Memory of perished reconnaissance man is eternalized in Chernivtsi
Vitalii Chuntul served in the 54th separate reconnaissance battalion. He perished on July 23rd, 2016 while performing a combat task near Mariupol. He was awarded the order “For courage” 3rd degree.
Parents of the perished serviceman, teachers, schoolchildren as well as many non-indifferent people gathered at the unveiling ceremony of the memorial plaque. During the speeches it was avowed that to give one’s life for Ukraine, for one’s closest people - just as the warrior-reconnaissance man did – is a deed full of human nobleness. It is because of such Heroes that we can go to school, work without fear and lead peaceful lives.
