The land of Cherkasy has grown a great pleiad of the true defenders of Ukraine, who stood up for the defence of our state without any hesitation.

Unfortunately, Cherkasy oblast has also faced grief and sorrow from the loss of the best Ukrainian sons, who died, defending their Homeland from Russian terrorist aggression.

In order to commemorate the deceased warriors, the Gallery of Glory was opened in Cherkasy City Council. The walls of the state authority body are decorated with photos of the heroes, who gave their life for freedom and independence of our state. In addition to the photos of the warriors of different armed services and branches, there are also photos of the scouts – Yevhen Podolianchuk, Ihor Boiko, Vitalii Verhai and Yaroslav Chalyi – at the exhibition.

Eternal memory to the heroes who died for Ukraine! Heroes do not die!
