Yesterday, a new academic year has begun in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during which 250 events of operational training troops (forces) are planned to carry out.

The main purpose of the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2021 is to provide readiness of command and control bodies to perform tasks to repulse and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, continue the transition to NATO standards and procedures of training and employment of troops (forces) in accordance with NATO.

This year, it is planned to widen participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in operational and combat training of NATO. Several of these measures will be key – an operational and strategic gathering, a number of command and staff exercises, as well as strategic command and staff training with the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Representatives of NATO member countries will take part in all events.
