Another russian-Ukrainian war has been going on for over a decade. A thousand days ago, the russian regular army began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. For a thousand days and nights, Ukraine has been defending itself in one of the largest wars of the 21st century, repelling putin's aggression, and resisting the military might of the former “second world army.”

Almost three years ago, Moscow's generals planned to “take Kyiv in three days” and parade down Khreshchatyk. We, Ukrainians, military and civilians, did not allow them to do so, because we value the freedom, dignity, and the independence of our country above all else - more than our own lives.

We, the Ukrainian intelligence officers, warned society about the danger, it is our job to know everything about the enemy and prepare for the worst-case scenario. That is why the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine was ready to successfully resist the enemy from the first minutes of the full-scale invasion.

Our units, together with their comrades-in-arms, defended Kyiv, liberated Kharkiv and Kherson, Zmiinyi Island and Vovchansk, and defended Siverskodonetsk and Mariupol, Bakhmut and Avdiivka to the last. Our UAVs reach targets 1,500 kilometers behind enemy lines, and naval drones clear the Black Sea of the Russian military fleet. And we are preparing new “surprises” for the enemy.

A thousand days of full-scale war means thousands of the DIU servicemen' feats. I am proud of every man. Hundreds of successful operations have been carried out. We destroy the occupants on land, at sea, and in the air. Our servicemen have mastered the latest equipment and tactics, and have become the best specialists in modern warfare. The enemies tremble when they realize that the DIU is fighting against them.

Unfortunately, many of our soldiers returned “on the shield”. Honor and glory to our fallen brothers and sisters!

Our eternal enemy has not abandoned its goal to destroy Ukraine as a state and Ukrainians as a people. Therefore, we must continue to be strong and persistent in achieving our goal of defeating the occupiers, liberating the Ukrainian land, and building the state of our dreams - a powerful, independent, and just Ukraine.

A thousand days is a long time. No one knows how many more days and nights this war will last. But we are ready and will fight for Ukraine as long as it takes. Because we are warriors of truth, fighting on our land, defending our people and our country.

I believe in the invincibility of Ukraine and Ukrainians! In our security and defense forces, in volunteers, in our civilian citizens. The war has touched each of us, brought grief to our families, and united us. We have to be a united freedom-loving nation. Our unity is the key to our victory.
