The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the Azov Regiment are jointly carrying out operation to save the defenders of Mariupol, blocked in the territory of Azov steel plant.

Fifty-three severely wounded Ukrainian service members have been already evacuated to a hospital in Novoazovsk from the Azovstal steelworks, where they will be rendered necessary medical assistance.

Also, another 211 defenders have been already evacuated to Olenivka village through the humanitarian corridor.

The returning the Ukrainian heroes as quick as possible will be carried out through the exchange procedure.

Regarding the defenders, who are still remaining at the Azovstal steelworks, all necessary saving measures have been taking by efforts of our state.

Thanks to defenders of Mariupol, Ukraine has received essential time for accumulating reserves, re-grouping and mobilization of strength and receiving assistance from allies.
