Reconnaissance man Yurii Dmytrenko was wounded while he was performing a combat task and lost his leg. For many people this would have become a verdict, which would completely change one’s future. Man loses faith in the future and does not view himself as a meaningful member of society.

However, the reconnaissance man did not give up. The warrior began to take part in the “Games of heroes” project while he was still in hospital. He continued to engage in cross fit but now with an artificial leg.

The physical load during trainings is strenuous. But the young man says that it is good for his recuperation. Yurii plans to continue doing sports in future and he is going to involve his comrade-in-arms in the process.
