The U.S. Administration considers it necessary to sign the new U.S.-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Charter in November of this year in order to reflect current realities. U.S. Department of State spokesperson Ned Price said this at a press briefing.
“It is necessary to refresh the Charter (on Strategic Partnership) to address the challenges of the 21st century,” he said. And he also recalled that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will host Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on November 10th. It is then when the parties plan to sign the new Charter.
