During a meeting with Defence Minister of Ukraine Andrii Zahorodniuk, Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent expressed unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for Ukrainian security sector reform in line with Ukraine’s EuroAtlantic aspirations.

On the eve of the meeting, U.S. Embassy in Ukraine posted on Facebook: “The United States’ support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity remains ironclad and the United States views support to Ukraine, through military assistance, as an important national interest. That support continues”.
