Employees of the Defence Inetelligence of Ukraine took part in the events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary from the day of creation of Lviv High Political Military School
The festive events took place in Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi which is successor of military school.
Nearly one hundred and fifty of graduates and instructors of educational institution remembered years of education and glory history of native educational institution, looked the exposure of museum and modern classrooms of Academy.
Addressing to the guests, the Chief of the Army Academy Major-General Pavlo Tkachuk expressed gratitude to those who adheres to native alma mater, Motherland and Ukrainian people.
On the occasion of jubilee of educational institution, the President of Ukraine – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Defence Minister of Ukraine Colonel-General Stepan Poltorak, the Head of State Border Service of Ukraine Lieutenant-General Victor Nazarenko and other heads of enforcement agencies of Ukraine sent their congratulations.
The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Major-General Yurii Pavlov in his greeting underscored: “Risking life, the graduates of military school didn’t make a compromise with own conscience, were the example of responsibility and professionalism. Fiery speech not only raised morale of warriors but it gave belief in victory and it inspired to achievements. Be always young, happy and be sure. Let’s your work never changes into routine trade and is always accompanied by creative search and achievements.”
The graduates and instructors of Lviv High Political Military School together with the cadets and officers of Academy laid flowers to a Memorable Sign to graduates of military school who were killed over the years of Second World War, and honoured the memory of graduates of the Academy who were killed during performing the missions in the ATO’s area by silence minute.
Within the framework of the celebration of anniversary of the educational institution, the employees of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine held a number of meetings with the graduates of Lviv High Political Military School of different times of graduation, including with those who has been living abroad nowadays. They came to agreement about direction of further cooperation in order to counteract information expansion of Russian Federation.
