DIU Employees Pay the Tribute to the Memory of Perished Combat Sworn Brother

On June 30, 2014, DIU employee Ihor Kiseliov was mortally wounded by enemy’s sniper near Kryva Luka village Lyman district Donetsk region while performing a combat task.

Ihor Oleksandrovych was posthumously awarded with the order “For Courage” 1st degree and was promoted to Major.

Today, the tribute to the bright memory of Ihor Kiseliov and five more perished defenders of Ukraine has been paid at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine during the daily commemoration ceremony of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were killed this day at different years as a result of the Russian aggression in the east of Ukraine.

The representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, officers and employees of structural divisions of defence ministry, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the servicemen of Kyiv garrison, the relatives of perished heroes, a lot of guests have taken part in the event.

Heroes don’t die! They live as long as we remember them!
