DIU Employees Pay Tribute to Legendary “Major Vykhor”
On the occasion of the 106th anniversary of birthday of the renowned warrior of Ukraine, the ceremony of laying of flowers to Yevhen Berezniak’s grave at Baikove cemetery in Kyiv has been held. During the ceremony, intelligence officers were remembering him as a man-legend, as a young in spirit, in heart of whom always was love for life, people and Homeland.
An honorary citizen of Kyiv and Krakow, an honorary employee of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, honoured teacher of Ukraine Yevhen Stepanovych Berezniak made a considerable contribution not only in the development of the Ukrainian military intelligence. Today, Berezniak as a teacher has been remembered at Shevchenko District State Administration in Kyiv. His pedagogical works is still of immediate interest among educational community.
Under the auspices of Kyiv Cultural Foundation, a documentary film about little known facts from hero’s life was on screens. DIU employees, who were on this event, told that young Ukrainian intelligence offices are delighted with his intellect, extraordinary humaneness of outstanding son of the Ukrainian people and his loyalty to Ukraine.
