Ukraine and Poland, having agreed on customs and border issues, have agreed to allow the movement of trucks across the border by railway transport.
For this reason, Ukrzaliznytsia has organised a convenient route between the two countries, as well as a container train for the relevant needs — the first batch of trucks from Ukraine has recently arrived at the Slavków railway station in Poland.
Then, the trucks will move to their destinations by road.
The newly reopened railway line is planned to be used regularly for traffic in both directions and will involve more modernised platforms.
The employees of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine have ensured the safety of the route’s first launch.
We are always happy and ready to help our railway workers, who generate and implement non-linear ideas in the midst of war, take care of the uninterrupted movement and economic stability of the state, and thus the Ukrainian army!
