In 2023, warriors of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine together with other components of the Security and Defenсe Forces of Ukraine, carried out a number of combat and special operations in the temporarily occupied Crimea and in the Black Sea.

In a commentary for the storyline, Andrii Cherniak, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, explained that the attacks in Crimea remind the russian invaders of their temporary stay on our lands, and also encourage Ukrainians under occupation who continue to believe in victory over moscow's evil.

According to him, the armed raids to the Crimean coast and other Black Sea campaigns of special forces intelligence officers are part of the overall plan of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces.

“I emphasize that such special operations are carried out on a spot basis, but they are not separate: they are a part of a single plan, a single intention for conducting broader operations,” Andrii Cherniak underscored.
