Today, Perished Heroes are Commemorated at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine
Today, the daily ceremony of commemoration of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were killed this day at different years as a result of the Russian aggression in the east of Ukraine, has been held at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The relatives of perished Heroes, officers and employees of structural divisions of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the servicemen and cadets of Kyiv garrison took part in the event.
Today, the Remembrance Bell has been donging six times. In particular, this day in 2016, the hearts of the warriors of the 131st separate reconnaissance battalion Sergeant Major Anatolii Kovalskyi and Junior Sergeant Mykola Yablonskyi stopped beating. Both reconnaissance men were posthumously awarded with the order “For Courage”.
The attendees did the honor to the memory of the perished defenders of Ukraine with minute of silence and laid flowers to the Stela.
