Facing its inability to achieve the goals set by kremlin leadership, the russian occupying army has resorted to chemical warfare on the battlefield — a tactic that has become systematic throughout moscow's criminal war against Ukraine.
Currently, incidents involving toxic gas munitions are being increasingly reported along the front line, particularly near the village of Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In most cases, russian forces are dropping RG-VO grenades (Ruchnaya Granata – Veshchestvo Otravlyayushcheye) from drones onto the positions of Ukraine's Defense and Security Forces.
The gas the invaders use causes severe damage to the mucous membranes and respiratory system. Exposure without protective gear can be fatal — tragically, there have already been Ukrainian defenders killed by these attacks.
Experts are working to identify the exact chemical compound used in these munitions.
Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reminds that every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will be met with just retribution.
