In the course of the ceremony, the representatives of the DIU leadership in their speeches emphasized that the State Flag of Ukraine is an historical heritage of our nation, symbol of national identity and a part of national culture.

After the ceremony of hoisting the State Flag of Ukraine, intelligence officers sang the State Anthem of Ukraine. The ritual was completed with a ceremonial march.
