Personnel of the military units and reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took an active part in the events dedicated to the Day of State Flag of Ukraine and the Independence Day of Ukraine, which were held not only in permanent dispositions but also in the ATO area.

In particular, on the Day of Independence of Ukraine reconnaissance men in permanent dispositions along with representatives of authority, the clergy, veterans and local residents took part in solemn gatherings, marches in review, prayers and other events as well as paid tribute to the perished defenders of Ukraine by laying flowers at monuments.

It should be noted that on the eve of the Day of Independence of Ukraine a great number of reconnaissance men in the ATO zone were awarded by mobile groups of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
