A flock of drones is ready to take off. Each of them contains 75 kilograms of explosives. The weapons prepared by Ukrainian intelligence officers are part of a strike against the russian military targets.

The “Donbas Realities” program of Radio Svoboda filmed the work of the DIU long-range drone operators group.

“The preparation is carried out in several stages. First of all, we analyze the targets, the possibility of reaching them, analyze the enemy's air defense, and electronic warfare equipment to find corridors to get through. Over the last year, it has been extremely difficult to do this, but we still manage to do it,” said the commander of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine's long-range UAV operators group.

He added that during the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the use of attack drones has undergone serious changes.

“We are the group that was the first to launch almost all long-range drones and those that came before them. We can see the dynamics - now we can hit targets at a distance of 2000 km,” the servicemen said.
