The state awards on the occasion of the Day of Defender of Ukraine were presented to intelligence officers who were distinguished during rebuffing the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine.

The DIU employees during their speeches noted that today the Feast of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin is associated with war participants for the Independence of Ukraine. This is the feast for all those who love Ukraine, who feel by heart and soul responsibility and involvement in defence of Homeland against the Russian occupants and its mercenaries.

Also intelligence officers underscored that the strengthening of defence capability of Ukraine it is not only increasing of combat effectiveness of new army but, first of all – it is forming and cementing of own identity and patriotism of Ukrainian defenders.
