Recently, bilateral brigade command and staff exercises took place in the operational command “North” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the command and staff exercises, personnel of two brigades improved their skills on performing assigned tasks in the course of several days. In particular, officers of the brigades’ command and control centers carried out tasks on planning, arrangement and engagement of combat operations, assessment of the situation, inflicting fire damage on the enemy, moving in combined ways, making corresponding calculations, etc.

These command and staff exercises resembled the actual situation in ATO zone to the highest degree possible and included active adversary counterefforts – conducting comprehensive intelligence operations and radio electronic warfare, constant maneuvering of forces and facilities.
