Selection of Candidates for Participation in “Invictus Games” Started
The servicemen and veterans, who got hurt or were wounded while performing service duty, tested their forces in sports trials.
This year, national team will consist of 15 competitors.
The competition will be held in Sydney (Australia) in October of 2018. Collection of application forms of candidates for participation in contest was conducted through the Internet and was completed on February 28. In general, 355 participants of combat actions agreed to test themselves in sports trials.
In the second decade of May the national contests also will be held in the Ukrainian capital, after that a session of the organizing committee on selection of athletes for the 2018 “Invictus Games” National Team will be held. The 1st of June will be finally determined the composition of the Ukrainian national team which will come to Australia.
