Riverine – 2020 multinational exercise is the third in a row training exercise between the Navy of Ukraine and the Navy of the Armed Forces of Romania. Main purpose of the maneuvers is to strengthen the level of interoperability between the fleets of Ukraine and Romania.

The partners have already coordinated plans of actions, strength and capabilities that will involve to perform joint actions in combined warships and motor boats tactical groups, as well as formed clear algorithm of interaction.

This year, units of the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service of Ukraine and the Border Police of Romania are involved in participation. Communications and command and control processes during the exercise will be carried out in accordance with NATO standards.
