Grief is pulsing through the veins, shredding the aorta,

Heartbeat is seething from pain and tears of despair,

A bunch of roses in the snow – to the airport’s warriors,

And in thoughts - the sound of fierce GRAD

Thousands of Ukrainians were distinguished by their deeds in the name of Ukraine, while repulsing Russian armed aggression against our state.

Constantly risking, and often sacrificing their own lives - their names will forever remain in the modern history of the Ukrainian state building path.

To honor the mass heroism of the defenders of our state Ukrainians are commemorating them in monuments, memorial plaques and in streets named after them, as well as dedicating songs and poems to the defenders of Ukraine.
