Dear colleagues, combat sworn brothers!
This nationwide holiday, pertinent to glorious Cossack traditions, is acknowledgment of patriotism, the high historical mission of the Ukrainian nation and embodiment of the courage and heroism of all those who fought for the independence of Ukraine over many centuries.
It is symbolical that on October 14 we celebrate both the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks and the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God – patroness of the Ukrainian troops. Our warriors – as their glorious ancestors had done before – are courageously defending Ukraine from the enemy, preventing the aggressor-state from implementing its imperialist plan neither in the near-term, nor in the medium-term perspective.
We are united by only mission – victory, renewal of peace in Ukraine and the incremental development of our state in the European community.
I thank the entire DIU workforce for your considerable contribution to the protection of our country, for your patriotism and high professionalism. Separate words of gratitude to all those who are at the forefront positions during this holy day.
I genuinely wish you good health, peace, well-being, harmony, prosperity and optimism!
May the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God protect you, your families and all of Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Heroes!
