Dear colleagues!

On 28th July, on the day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine, we are marking Ukrainian Statehood Day for the first time.

This Ukrainian holiday contributes the restoration of historical justice and protection of national interests of our State because in Russia's current war of aggression against Ukraine, the very distortion of historical facts is one of the type of weapon used by the enemy in its insidious aggression.

That is why, now, when our country is suffering from the invaders, the marking of state holidays, preservation of cultural heritage, commemoration of the fallen defenders of Ukraine acquires special importance.

We are proud of our people, our language, centuries-old history and the State, which is recognized not only in Europe, but also in the whole world! We are the nation of invincibles, and the heroic victory of Ukraine will be a joint victory of the entire democratic world! All invaders will be destroyed!

Please accept my congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood!
