DPRK army soldiers got drunk on New Year's Eve
January 2, 2024

On December 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025, the russians continued to involve units of the DPRK army in combat operations in the Kursk region.

North Korean units continue to suffer significant losses among their personnel.

To replace the losses and strengthen their positions, russian commanders are deploying new DPRK army troops to the front line. On December 31 and January 1, groups of North Korean soldiers were moved to positions near the settlements of Ulanok, Fanaseevka, and Cherkasskaya Konopleka in the Kursk region.

Lower-level commanders lie in reports to the higher command about the actual level of losses among DPRK army personnel.

The morale of North Korean soldiers has fallen. They are constantly being "treated" with russian army propaganda about the "great importance" of the DPRK army's participation in the war against Ukraine.

On New Year's Eve, there were cases of alcohol abuse among North Korean soldiers, including those involved in combat operations.
