The Ukrainian Institute of National Memory presents a short film "Two Wars of One Odesa Resident", dedicated to Vsevolod Zmienko, a Ukrainian military, a participant of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921.
The film depicts the events of the defence of Zamostia in 1920 – one of the key battles of the Soviet-Polish war, where Ukrainians and Poles by joint efforts defeated the Bolshevik troops. Vsevolod Zmiienko was Chief of Staff of the Sixth Rifle Division of the UPR Army at the time of his participation in the defence of Zamostia.
It should be noted that among the military of the Ukrainian People's Republic he is known as an organizer of the Ukrainian troops in Odesa region in 1917–1918, a chief of the military intelligence of the UPR in exile, a renowned military leader and an active member of the Ukrainian emigration.
