Carpathian volunteers are planning to re-equip technologically the reconnaissance units of 128th separate mountain-infantry brigade

Patriots have ambitious plans – to provide the scouts with 15 sets of modern technical means of reconnaissance

Volunteers from Ivano-Frankivsk over a long period of time have helped to the units of 128th separate mountain-infantry brigade of the Land Forces of Ukraine which has taken part in holding of counterterrorist operation.

For this period of time, due to the efforts of Carpathian patriots, it was managed to decide an issue on providing the personnel of brigade with foods, clothes and logistics support of general-purpose. However, volunteers haven’t stopped at what has been accomplished and have planned to realize an ambitious project on technical re-equipment of reconnaissance units of brigade. Because it is military intelligence of tactical level that nowadays has entrusted a heavy load concerning the reconnaissance of enemy’s objectives on the deep of performing of tasks by brigade.

Volunteers have planned to provide the countrymen-scouts with 15 sets of technical means every of which will consist of several UFV of various purpose, infrared imager, protected means of communication and information processing as well as armored vehicles. One of initiators of this is Marian Kurylov.

Nowadays, the local community, representatives of clergy and Ukrainian diasporas abroad have raised money on purchasing of the necessaries.

It should be noted that within the framework of their project, Carpathian patriots have already bought two UFVs for scouts, including one quadrocopter. After completing the equipping of UFVs with the necessary technical means, UFVs will be conveyed to the scouts of 128th separate mountain-infantry brigade.
