President of Ukraine presented award to reconnaissance man
Yehor Shcherbakov, a commander of reconnaissance platoon of reconnaissance company of separate mechanized brigade, was in the area of ATO from June 2014. He accomplished missions on performing reconnaissance near the settlements Stepanivka, Petrovske, Artemivske, Debaltsevo, Luhanske. On February 9, 2015, he was wounded during performing of combat mission.
President of Ukraine awarded also several servicemen who distinguished themselves in the area of ATO.
“You are a model of courage and heroism. It’s pleasure that such warriors as you, keep up the Ukrainian flag. I’m sure that with such fighting men, whole Ukraine can feel protected”, – Petro Poroshenko said.
The Head of Hospital informed the President of Ukraine about the progress of the treatment and health conditions of militaries. According to him, the servicemen have received everything they need for recovery, and they have provided with medical substances and so on.
