The draft law has been developed to regulate the issue regarding the admission of units of the armed forces of other countries to the territory of Ukraine to participate in multinational military exercises in 2022, to determine their total strength, types and number of weapons and military equipment, period of stay and locations for the period of exercises.

In total, it is scheduled to hold ten multinational exercises in the territory of Ukraine, in which it is planned to involve about 21.5 thousand servicemen of Ukraine and about 11 thousand foreign participants. In particular, these are following multinational exercises: conducting multinational exercise on training of units of the Armed Forces, "Joint Efforts–2022" multinational exercise, "Rapid Trident–2022" Ukrainian-American exercise, "Kozak Mace–2022" Ukrainian-British exercise, “Light Avalanche–2022 ” multinational exercise, “Silver Saber–2022” Ukrainian-Polish exercises, “Sea Breeze–2022” Ukrainian-American exercise, “Riverine–2022” Ukrainian-Romanian exercise, “Maple Arch–2022” multinational exercise and “Viking–2022” multinational exercise.

At the same time, it is envisaged the participation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in multinational exercises outside Ukraine.
