President of Ukraine signed a Decree on awarding the state awards of Ukraine

Among the servicemen is Captain Navy Olefirenko Yurii
On April 9, 2015, Petro Poroshenko signed a Decree No. 213/2015 “On awarding by the state awards of Ukraine”.
According to the Decree, for personal courage and high professionalism demonstrated during the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Captain Navy Olefirenko Yurii Borysovych was posthumously awarded the order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (3rd Class).
On January 16, 2015, the commander of reconnaissance unit of the Navy of Ukraine, captain Navy Olefirenko Yurii was killed in fight, having covered his combat sworn brothers by his body.
Besides Olefirenko Yurii, according to the Decree of Ukrainian President, several reconnaissance men were awarded the state awards.
