On the eve of 8th March, Petro Poroshenko awarded renowned Ukrainian women for a considerable personal contribution to social and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and educational development of the Ukrainian state, exemplary performance of service duty and many years of conscientious work.

In particular, a reconnaissance woman from a separate mechanized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Junior Sergeant Olha Tereshchenko was awarded the order “For Courage”.

On November 13, 2015, she disclosed enemy sabotage-reconnaissance group from concealed sniper position. By adjusted shots, Olha Tereshchenko annihilated two militants, having forced the enemy to retreat. Due to her professional actions, shellings ceased in this direction for a long time.

“With such women, our best troops in the world are unconquerable. With such women, I have no doubt, victory over the enemy, aggressor and invader is definitely inescapable,” – Petro Poroshenko noted.
